This site is at present largely about it's owner; Rupert Fiennes. I'm a network engineer from the south west of the UK, and I am now working in London for a web hosting company called Globalcenter; well, it was, then it was taken over by Exodus, who then went bust and were bought by Cable and Wireless. I keep on meaning to add more to this site, but for the moment you might want to read this small travelogue about an overland journey to Kathmandu from Somerset via Russia, Mongolia, China and Tibet I did back in 1997, though being an mechanical engineer by training, I'm not exactly a writer of riveting prose! I keep on meaning to put up another travelogue, this time of Nepal and southern China; I returned from this in February 2000 so you can imagine the delay!
